"The Hot sardines" playing and drinking. Love it. |
Cortelyou Rd(named after George B. Cortelyou), part of Ditmas park sector of Brooklyn, is for the most part a quiet scenic place. Full of too many found memories for me to go on and on about. These days it hovers gently, respectfully, between the change it cannot stop, and the way it, we, used to be. Its strange how life plays out. An art show(film photography)I put on @ Cafe Madelines(March post)got one of my photos in an Art benefit(Sears Peyton Gallery)thanks to Jenn Gorge Nelson. There I saw "The Hot Sardines"(Jazz) perform(see May post) for the event. Going to see them at The Castello plan was a very great thing. The place is one of the new editions to the area, near Westminster rd.
I love the light play, really nice. Makes you think of having a drink. |
